For #GivingTuesday 2016, consider these Missoula-area nonprofits

PartnersCreative staff helping Watson kids carve pumpkins, October 2016.

This year we at PartnersCreative are once again giving away Google Grant support to help nonprofits spread their messages. To amplify that support, we asked members of our staff to suggest local nonprofits that deserve your consideration on #GivingTuesday.

“The kids served by Watson Children’s Shelter are facing challenges that thankfully few of us ever face. Especially during the holidays I feel that it’s important to do whatever we can for them.”
— Steve Falen, creative director

“When we look out the office windows and see open space surrounding Missoula, we can thank Five Valleys Land Trust for preserving beautiful landscapes to admire when we can’t be outdoors.”
— Leta Brown, business manager

“I’d suggest people give to the Montana Natural History Center even if they didn’t employ my husband. Their programs build awareness of our natural heritage — and help encourage people to do what they can to preserve the great things around us.”
— Suzanne Elfstrom, director of media & public relations

“I love the work that the Missoula YMCA does to support healthy living in our community.”
— Lauryn Wate, media intern

“I encourage people to support Camp Mak-A-Dream. Their mission of helping kids and young adults, those who shouldn’t be fighting cancer at such a young age, particularly tugs at my heartstrings.”
— Tony Ferrini, director of digital technologies

“The fact that anyone can visit the Missoula Art Museum for free is a remarkable gift that we enjoy every day. I hope people will consider giving to MAM to continue that tradition.”
— Joe Nickell, PR strategist & content developer

That’s just a short list of some of the worthy and impactful nonprofits we love around here. We’d be remiss if we didn’t at least mention some of the other great organizations we’ve worked with over the last few years to improve our world and the lives of people and creatures in it:
