Stanley door hardware was a division of Stanley Tools. In addition the Stanley brand, it also owned Best and Precision. In 2017, that suite of brands was purchased by dormakaba Holdings, a European hardware manufacturer. As part of a cooperative go-to-market strategy, Stanley’s brand team asked us to create a single tone, look and feel for the three brands. After researching the target audience, we landed on a direction that featured product plus attitude. To retain the brand equity in each name we kept logos and colors the same, while aligning all ads with the same look and feel.
In support of distributors, ads were converted to templates that could be used in both print and digital placements.
